In this class, we'll discover how pairing movement with writing can help us access inspiration and intuition. We’ll begin with a guided sequence rooted in mat Pilates and barre, woven with expressive, dance-inspired gestures. Then we’ll write together, using generative prompts that encourage you to explore personal narrative, memory, and voice in a new way.
Wear comfortable clothing that you can move and write in, a mat, and water.
Three-month, one-on-one writing mentorship for those who want a closer, more consistent relationship with their work.
Each week, we’ll meet to talk through your writing, your questions, and what is unfolding on the page. I’ll read your work closely and respond with both in-line notes and big-picture guidance. This one-on-one mentorship is for writers who want steady companionship, close attention, and meaningful momentum in their work.
Whether you’re in the middle of a project, circling something new, or finding your way back to a writing practice, we’ll shape a rhythm that supports both the work itself and the person doing it.
A touchstone, a return to your words and interior life.
Once weekly, we’ll meet on Zoom to practice prompt-based, timed writing exercises designed to be generative, rhythmic, low-stakes, and fun. Think of this like a writing aerobics class; a place to improve creative circulation, strengthen and stretch narrative muscles, and connect with your voice. You’ll be surprised by what emerges on the page and inspired by the company of others. Sharing is optional but highly encouraged. All writers are welcome. This January, I’m offering both a morning and an evening cohort to accommodate more schedules.
